What even is a mellowbog?

While Google search comes up with “Did you mean: mellow dogs“, mellowbogs is a small design studio run by illustrator and tinkerer, Nikki Sugihara. They are a one-person/two-cat operation on Beacon Hill in Seattle, Washington. You can read more about Nikki and the cats here.

The name mellowbogs is a combination of her “mellow” personality and favorite landscape, the “bog”. It is meant to feel soft, similar to the characteristics of Nikki’s work.
